The common claim is that they will give each client individual attention and provide full legal service. They may even claim to have a team of attorneys working for you. This is just plain false. They make their money running you through the “mill” and usually end up pleading you guilty after performing a dog and pony show for you.

The truth of the matter is that you would be much better off with the local public defender or no attorney at all. The only problem with being represented by the local public defenders is that they have a very heavy caseload; they are usually very good attorneys.

There are a number of legal steps that a competent attorney must take; they take time and attention to detail. That takes time. Think about it. It is your freedom, and it is your choice.
